Rental Terms

The plain-English version of our rental agreement. When you book, you’ll review and sign the full agreement electronically — that signed agreement is the one that governs your rental. Nothing here is a surprise: every fee we can ever charge is on this page.

Your rental

• Standard term is 2 weeks, starting at delivery and ending at completed pickup.
• Every rental includes label stickers and a free marker. Totes are delivered clean and sanitized, and cleaned and sanitized again after pickup. Cleaning is free — always.
• Delivery and pickup are unattended by default: you authorize us to drop off and collect at the address on your booking, following your instructions. Nobody needs to be home.
• Stairs and long carries are included.

Packages

• The Top-Up: $35 per rental term. Matches the duration of your rental.
• 40-gallon totes: $3.25 each per week. Must match the duration of the rental.
• 57-gallon totes: $5.25 each per week. Must match the duration of the rental.

Extensions and pickup

• Add a week any time from the Manage My Rental page at your package’s additional-week rate.
• Early pickup is welcome; there is no refund for unused time.
• If pickup isn’t scheduled by the end of your term, you get a 48-hour grace period (with one free reschedule). After that, the rental automatically extends week-to-week at the additional-week rate until pickup is completed.
• If we arrive for a scheduled pickup and the totes aren’t ready or accessible, a $35 redelivery fee applies and the rental continues until pickup is completed.

Card on file

A card on file is required for every rental. We place an authorization hold only — there is no separate deposit charge. By signing the rental agreement you authorize us to charge the card on file for extensions, redelivery, cancellation, damage/replacement, and non-return charges described here.

Cancellation

Free until 48 hours before your scheduled delivery. Inside 48 hours: $50.

Damage and loss

Normal wear (scuffs and scratches) is free. If equipment is damaged beyond normal wear, lost, or returned in a condition that makes it unusable, this replacement fee schedule applies:

If totes aren’t returned

We’ll remind you (days 1, 3, and 7 past due). Equipment not returned within 14 days of the due date is treated as purchased: the card on file is charged the replacement value of everything outstanding plus accrued extension charges, and title transfers when that charge clears. If a balance can’t be collected, it accrues interest and the reasonable costs of collection (including court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees) to the extent permitted by Florida law.

What we’re not responsible for

• Anything you pack. Contents are packed entirely at your risk — including valuables, documents, electronics, and fragile items. We are never liable for damage to, loss of, or theft of contents.
• Packing, stacking, loading, and securing are yours. Observe the weight limit printed for each tote (27G: 75 lb). Injuries or damage from stacking, loading, moving, or a falling stack — including from a dolly — are your responsibility.
• Dollies must be used on level surfaces with reasonable loads; supervise children around stacked totes.
• Never store hazardous, flammable, illegal, perishable, or leaking items in the totes.
• Our liability for delivery and pickup is limited to direct damage caused by our own negligence. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (for example, costs from a delayed closing or move).
• Severe weather may force a reschedule; your term extends by the delay, with no penalty to either side.

Governing law

Florida law governs; disputes are handled in St. Lucie County, Florida.
